ARGENTINA TRIP - LAST DAY - SUNDAY 30th

Just a few quick thoghts from our hoyel room before we check out and make our way to the morning service at Rey de Reyes
I think I said before thet this has been a time of highs and lows for both of us but to be honest that has become our life experience over the past few years anyway - and I hear some of you saying - "ME TOO".
We both agree that it's been worth battling through the low times to reach the many "highs" we have experienced. There are definitel some important lessons learned. I feel a mountaineering illustration coming on but as I know nothing about this particular skill it's best I keep quiet and leave it to your imagination. Thinking back I would say that the visit to the Washington Space Museum was an inspiration. I have always been a bit critical of all the money that is spent on the space program and I still hold that view - but you cannot deny that the dream to put men into space was a massive task and in spite of having to battle against what must have seemed impossible odds - they never gave up but kept pressing on through all the setbacks.
People who achieve great things in life live close to the edge of certifiable madness, but without men and women like these, Everest would never have been conquered, we would not be flying around in 'planes, and the Gospel would not have reached the ends of the earth - that makes me feel better!
Yesterday we took it easy and visited La Boca and Caminito - the arty-crafty bit of Buenos Aires. It was a nice day out and the public transport costs continue to amaze us. Less than £1 for both of us for the whole 2hr return trip by underground and bus!

We were back in time for another great service at Rey de Reyes. They had a spot in the middle with an amazing Argentine Folk band leading the worship - 4 young guys with Spanish guitars mandolin and pan pipes - it was very moving. Then a Gaucho in full dress and boots came on the platform and did an energetic dance as his expression of worship to God - WONDERFUL!
At about 8pm we went to one of the restaurants for some more great food.

Looking forward to getting home now - Love to you all -
Terry & Mo
